In the congratulatory messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un the first secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Russia Lenin Young Communist League and the first national secretary of the People's Liberation Movement Youth of Angola praised the glorious path of the Korean youth movement.

Saying that under the wise leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un the young Korean people play the pivotal and leading role in the struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and build a prosperous and powerful country, they wished the Socialist Patriotic Youth League bigger successes at major worksites of building a powerful country.

The National Political Bureau of the Union of Young Communists of Cuba and the Addis Ababa Youth Association of Ethiopia in their congratulatory letters to the Central Committee of the youth league said that the long history of the Korean youth movement is the one of the victory of the Juche-oriented youth movement which was pioneered and has been advanced by President Kim Il Sung, H.E. Kim Jong Il and President of the State Affairs of the DPRK Kim Jong Un, and the one in which the patriotism and loyalty of the young Korean people were clearly displayed.

Meanwhile, the Revolutionary Youth Union of Syria held a friendly gathering to mark the Youth Day.
