In the message, the Russian president extended sincere congratulations to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The relations between the Russian Federation and the DPRK traditionally assume the friendly and good-neighbor character, the message said.

It noted that the two countries have accumulated rich experience of fruitful cooperation in many sectors.

It expressed the conviction that constructive and bilateral relations would be further developed in all sectors for promoting the wellbeing of the peoples of the two countries and strengthening security and stability in the Korean peninsula and the whole of the Northeast Asian region with joint efforts.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and success and all the citizens of the DPRK peace and prosperity.
