In the message, the general secretary and the president of Vietnam extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the Party, state and people of the DPRK on behalf of the Vietnamese party, state and people on the occasion of the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK (September 9, 1948 - September 9, 2022).

The message said that under the leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, the fraternal Korean people have achieved many important successes in the cause of construction and development of the country in the past period, especially, in the anti-epidemic work as mentioned at the national meeting of reviewing the emergency anti-epidemic work held on August 10, 2022.

It expressed conviction that the Korean people would achieve greater successes in the socio-economic development, the anti-epidemic work and the improvement of the people's standard of living under the leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK.

Vietnam is always giving importance to the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and countries personally provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and cultivated by leaders of several generations and peoples of the two countries and wishes for further developing them, it said.

The message said we are rejoiced over the fact that the cooperative relations between the two parties and two countries have been further developed day by day and many successes achieved since Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, paid an official goodwill visit to Vietnam in March 2019 to Vietnam, and are convinced that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties, two states and two peoples would steadily grow strong in line with the interests of the peoples of the two countries and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the rest of the world and by the common efforts of the leaders and peoples of the two countries.

It wishes Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the WPK and president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, good health and happiness and greater successes in his noble duty.
