The volume contains 28 works including historic letters and talks published by the Chairman in the period from July to December Juche 80 (1991).

Some works indicate clear struggle policies for defending and adding luster to the revolutionary tradition, an eternal cornerstone of the Party and revolution, and fully displaying the superiority of the Korean-style socialist system centered on the masses by further improving the standard of people's livelihood.

Other works give perfect solutions to theoretical and practical issues arising in various fields of the revolution and construction, including the issue of widely introducing and propagating positive deeds of Party members and working people, the issue of strengthening the mass sports and the issue of remodeling the Songdowon International Children's Camp.
