Among the spectators were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, and other cadres of the Party and the government, chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the WPK, chairpersons of provincial people's committees, deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly, the participants in the celebrations of the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK and citizens in the capital city.

Veteran cadres who had worked in the Party, the government and the military for a long time also watched the games.

Prior to the games, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, made an address.

The finals of each event took place.

A player from South Hwanghae Province took the first place in the relay race finals.

North Hwanghae Province, Kangwon Province and Nampho City proved successful at various events.

The Pyongyang City team beat the North Phyongan Province team in the tug of war finals.

South Hwanghae Province came first in total standings to win a rotating trophy cup.
