| Successes Achieved in Education for Rising Generation and Creation of Fine Arts

| Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- Pyongyang University of Fine Arts has achieved many successes in the education for the rising generation and creating fine arts works for the first 10 years in the new century of Juche. Holding fast to Chairman Kim Jong Il's work "On Fine Art" as an important guideline, the university has based education of many subjects on the Party policies, principle and popularity and produced many textbooks and reference books conducive to improving the scientific level of fine arts education and the depiction level of fine arts. Over 800 holders of academic degree and over 130 October 8 model professors have been produced among teachers and researchers. Successes were also made in producing fine arts. The university has created more than 20,000 fine arts pieces for the past 10 years, enriching the treasure house of the Juche-based fine arts. |
