To build the village of the Jisin Vegetable Farm in Huichon City into a model, Jagang Province has stepped up plastering, roof covering and building of sewage purifying site.

Officials and builders in Kangdong and Thaechon counties and Hoeryong City finished the foundation-laying and framework-erecting projects in a short span of time, and are pressing ahead with interior and exterior plastering and floor project by positively applying the advanced building methods.

Efforts are being made to increase the proportion of the mechanization.

Each province organized effective exhibitions of construction equipment, utensils and tools so as to further consolidate the material and technical foundations of the regional construction.

Strides were also made towards producing building parts for rural dwellings and increasing the proportion of locally available finishing building materials.
