The food administration stations in Rangnang District and Kangdong County of Pyongyang City made rice huskers capable of increasing the serviceable life of rubber rollers and rotary heating ovens, and remodeled the equipment for processing wheat and barley so as to process and dry grains satisfactorily while saving manpower.

The Pyokdong County Food Administration Station of North Phyongan Province is promoting the work for introducing automatic assembly line into grain processing whereas the Kwaksan County Food Administration Station is installing the rolling equipment by its own efforts and technology.

Officials and workers in the food administration sector in North Hamgyong and Jagang provinces are putting spurs to the work for manufacturing new-type processing equipment and carrying out technical innovation tasks to raise the actual extraction rate.
