Attending them were officials, teachers, researchers, field technicians and graduate students from over 10 units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering and the Hamhung Branch of the State Academy of Sciences.

Presented there were more than 110 essays which were completed during the research and creation for turning the structure of the country's chemical industry into the Juche-oriented industry relying on domestic raw materials.

In the period, there were a lecture on the recent trend of chemical materials development and a video show.
