Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- With the autumn approaching, temperatures fall and the difference in temperatures between day and night becomes huge in the northern highlands and most other parts of the DPRK. That's why viral respiratory diseases such as flu can readily occur. The WHO and health organs of different countries have already expressed great concern over a possible outbreak of complications due to the spread of COVID-19 and flu at the same time this autumn and winter. Our anti-epidemic and health experts, too, recommended that all the people wear masks for their own health from October when it gets cold, keeping tabs on the danger of flu spreading in neighboring countries and the region recently. The State Emergency Epidemic Prevention Headquarters gives continuous momentum to social anti-epidemic atmosphere by swiftly issuing instructions with detailed measures for preventing and curing flu and data on the worldwide anti-epidemic situation while keeping a close eye on the nationwide anti-epidemic situation. Far-sighted anti-epidemic measures are taken to cope with seasonal change while maintaining an all-people anti-epidemic consciousness and alertness to meet the requirements of the intensified and strengthened normal anti-epidemic system. |
