The seminar on the theme of "The founding of the DPRK is a historic event as it brought about a fundamental change in carving out the destiny of the Korean people" was attended by personages of political parties, organizations and institutions in Brazil, including the Communist Party and the Center for the Study of the Juche Idea, and members of Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.

Rosanita Campos, member of the National Political Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party, said in a key speech at the seminar that President Kim Il Sung, who embarked on the road of struggle against the Japanese imperialists in the period when dark clouds of national sufferings hung heavily, founded the great Juche idea and indicated the path of the Korean revolution based on it.

The speaker noted that the President set forth a line on building the people's government and gained precious experience in the flames of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and successfully realized the cause of party and army building, smashing the moves of the imperialist reactionary forces after Korea's liberation.

The President proclaimed the birth of the DPRK to the world on September 9, 1948 after providing the solid foundation for building an independent and sovereign state, the speaker stressed, adding that with the birth of the Republic the Korean people could hew out their destiny independently and creatively as genuine masters of the independent and sovereign state.

Then, several personages made speeches lauding the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il for the founding and strengthening of the DPRK.

They said that thanks to leader Kim Jong Un faithfully inheriting the intention of the preceding leaders, the DPRK has demonstrated its might as a world-level military power with tremendous war deterrent no formidable powers dare provoke and the Korean people have dynamically accelerated socialist construction.
