The events were held on the themes of "The aim and practice of a green building" and "The energy- and water resources-saving at a building".

Present there were officials, teachers and researchers of educational and scientific units in the architectural field.

Over 20 valuable papers were submitted to the events.

The papers submitted by the architecture science institute of Pyongyang University of Architecture, the green architecture institute of the State Academy of Sciences and the urban management science institute of the Ministry of Urban Management were highly estimated for their practical significance.

The symposium discussed the ways of saving energy and water at buildings to suit the specific conditions of the country and the development trend of the world.
