The Ministry of Public Health set the preventive and curative medical organs in Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province, Ryongjung-ri in Mundok County and Onjong-ri in Yangdok County of South Phyongan Province as models and has pushed forward with the work to remodel the preventive and curative medical organs in provinces, cities and counties.

South Hamgyong Province has taken relevant measures to solve the problems arising in reconstructing those organs.

The same is true of North Hamgyong and Kangwon provinces.
