Founding Anniversary of DPRK Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Personages of different countries issued press statements and articles from Sept. 4 to 9 to mark the 74th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The chairman of the Arab Committee for Solidarity with Korean People and Supporting the Reunification of Korea, the chief of the Lebanese Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the former dean of the Political Faculty of University of Damascus of Syria said in their press statements that the 70-odd-year history of the DPRK is unthinkable without the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, highly praising him as the founder of socialist Korea.

The secretary general of the Romanian Workers' Association said in an article it is well known to the world that the Korean people have been fully armed with the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and developed and enriched by HE Kim Jong Il. The article noted that lots of buildings for the people are being built in the DPRK where the people-first ideal is thoroughly realized.

The chairperson of the Korean Friendship Association UK posted on the website an article introducing the devoted efforts made by the President for the building of a genuine people's country, a great state for the people.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said in the article titled "74 Years of Progress and Prosperity under the Banner of Juche Idea" that the birth of the DPRK was a great event as the Korean people founded the state guaranteeing the independent existence of the country and the people's safety and prosperity for the first time in the 5, 000-year history under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

The chairperson of the Mongolian Centre for the Study of Juche noted in an article under the title of "The Juche Idea and Korea Today" that under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un the Korean people have made shining development in politics, economy, military, culture and other fields for the past 10 years.
