Presentation of Experience in Recycling Technology

Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- A national presentation of experience in recycling technology in the light industry sector took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on Sept. 21-23 under the co-sponsorship of textile, consumer goods and cosmetics industries associations of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

The presentation was aimed to popularize the sci-tech successes and experience gained by the light industrial sector in recycling and improving the product quality to carry out the important tasks advanced by the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee.

Attending it were scientists, technicians, teachers, researchers and officials from tens of units, including Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry and the Hamhung Woolen Mill.

Presented to it were more than 50 papers on the sci-tech successes and experience achieved in recycling waste and by-products, improving the quality of products made of recycled materials and manufacturing and introducing recycling equipment.
