Coal Production Goes up in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- Coal miners in the DPRK are making uninterrupted innovations and progress in the spirit of having fulfilled their third quarterly plans.

The Ministry of Coal Industry and coal-mining complexes have directed their efforts to intensifying the high-speed tunneling movement and raising the mechanization proportion in mining.

Workers of the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-Mining Complex have carried out monthly and quarterly plans without fail.

Those of the Namdok Youth Coal Mine, the Inpho Youth Coal Mine and the Phunggok Youth Coal Mine have increased the coal production by waging a mass movement and increasing the mechanization proportion.

Coal mines under the Anju Area Coal-Mining Complex have over-fulfilled their tunneling tasks by giving further momentum to a socialist emulation drive.

Several coal mines under the Kujang Area Coal-Mining Complex have brought good results every day, introducing efficient tunneling and cutting methods and providing equipment and materials by themselves.

Similar successes are witnessed at the Onsong Area Coal-Mining Complex and the Hamnam Area Coal-Mining Complex.
