Active Support to Metal Industry in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 8 (KCNA) -- In the third quarter of the year, tens of thousands of tons of scrap iron were sent to metal factories across the country amid increasing enthusiasm for supporting the metal industry.

Officials in South Hamgyong Province conducted field information service about achievements and experience gained.

Pyongyang City gave precedence to the transport of scrap iron.

South Hwanghae Province aroused the masses to the mobilization of internal reserves and ensured greater role of procurement bodies.

Nampho City, Kaesong City and North Hwanghae Province, too, distinguished themselves in securing lots of scrap iron in the period.
