The WPK's history of more than 70 years is shining more brightly with those paeans to the motherly party, beloved songs of all the people.

The paeans have been popular among the DPRK people for their high ideological and artistic value and great influence.

Song "Under the Banner of the Party", created in Juche 45 (1956), served as a bugle note for the revolutionary advance. It reflects the faith of all the people that only when they remain true to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the founder and builder of the WPK, can they bring earlier the future of communism.

The DPRK people kindled the flames of a revolutionary great upsurge under the prominent leadership of the ever-victorious WPK. They raced against the time and worked world-startling miracles, singing such songs as "The Workers' Party Is Our Guide" and "Let's Defend the Party Central Committee with Our Lives".

With "We'll Travel One Road Forever" and other songs in praise of the WPK, all the people hardened their iron will to vigorously struggle for the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche, only following the great Party.

Song "O Mother Party" was created in the historic year when Chairman Kim Jong Il started his work at the Party Central Committee. Through the song, the DPRK people called the WPK mother party for the first time.

"The Party Is My Mother", "O Mother Party Which Protected My Destiny" and other songs reflect the true feelings of all the Korean people who cannot live apart from the Party.

Singing "If Our Mother Party Wishes" and "The Voice of the Mother", the DPRK people demonstrated to the whole world the irresistible might of Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses in which the leader, the Party and the masses have formed a harmonious whole.

In the new century of Juche, many new paeans to the Party were created such as "You Are Mother" and "Glory to the Workers' Party of Korea".
