The victory in the Ryonpho area at a time when the struggle for prosperity of our state and the promotion of the people's well-being is given further momentum, gives great delight to all the people in the country who have just celebrated the auspicious October holiday, the editorial says, and goes on:

We must carry on the great victory in the Ryonpho area with greater ones in all the fields of socialist construction with courageous and strenuous efforts.

We must defend the absolute prestige of the Party Central Committee in every way by displaying the fighting spirit of carrying through the task, entrusted by the Party, at the level and by the time desired and set by the Party under any conditions and circumstances and the stubbornness of implementing all the lines and policies of the Party to the end.

All the sectors and units should more vigorously wage the struggle for steadily and surely carrying out the policy tasks of the Party.

They should faithfully provide the solid foundations for the state prosperity by effectively carrying out long-range projects, including the one for expanding capacity, while putting efforts into the present production.

They should successfully complete the projects for providing the people with better living conditions, including the construction of 50, 000 flats in Pyongyang city, so as to realize the long-cherished desires of the Party one by one.
