Laid before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin of China were floral baskets in the names of the GAKC, the Association of Korean Women in China and the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Province Regional Association of the GAKC.

The Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Zhongnan Regional Association and the Dandong City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association of the GAKC laid floral baskets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art works depicting them at the DPRK embassy in Beijing and DPRK missions in Shenyang and Dandong and bowed to them.

A commemorative lecture was held by the GAKC on Oct. 10, the 77th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Present at the lecture were officials of the GAKC, members of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China and members of the Shenyang City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association.

Kim Yong Hui, director of the Bureau of National Reunification Movement of the GAKC, gave a lecture titled "The Workers' Party of Korea, Organizer and Guide of All Victories".

Afterwards, the participants watched the 31st part of the documentary film "Care Shown to Make Their Lives Shine".

A celebration meeting was held at the DPRK mission in Dandong by the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and the Association of Korean Women in China.

The Zhongnan and Jilin regional associations of the GAKC also held colorful events including the study of the reminiscences of the President, photo and book exhibitions and composition reading.

The Yanbian Regional Association of the GAKC made a study tour to Fuyandong associated with the feats performed by the President during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle on Oct. 11.
