The five-point construction direction, the content of which is political, organizational and ideological construction and discipline and work style building, is a bright path for developing the whole Party in the new era as it has firmly defended the immortal idea and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on party building and enriched them in an original way, the editorial notes, and goes on:

Only when we push ahead with the development of our Party substantially in accordance with the five-point construction direction set forth by the General Secretary, can we adopt the new appearance and traits of the Party guaranteeing the eternal future and confidently carry out the cause of building socialism and communism.

When we hold fast to and thoroughly apply the idea of political, organizational and ideological construction and discipline and work style building, our Party will demonstrate its dignity and honor as a revolutionary party which serves the people unconditionally in any storm and stress full of vigor and vitality without losing its purity.

It is the greatest fortune and honor of the WPK to have at its top post the great leader who indicates the ever-victorious path to be followed by the Party in each period and at each stage of the developing revolution, gives full play to the vigor and vitality of the Party and opens up a rosy future.

All the Party organizations, officials and members should regard the great idea and theory, advanced by the respected General Secretary on the historic day when the origin of our Party was provided, as a precious treasure and make deep study of them to thoroughly apply them to practice.
