Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), sent a congratulatory message to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on Sunday. The message reads: The respected Comrade General Secretary, Please accept my warmest congratulations to you upon the glad news that the 20th Congress of the CPC was successfully held and you were elected again as the general secretary of the Party Central Committee. The 20th Congress of the CPC offered a significant landmark for the Chinese party and people in propelling the historic process of the Chinese nation's great prosperity under the banner of the socialist idea with the Chinese characteristics in the new era, rallied closer around the Party Central Committee with you at the core. Your sustained assumption of the heavy duty of leading the CPC is indicative of the invariable trust, support and expectation of all the party members and people.
