Women's union officials and members across the country had provided those boats through a good-conduct movement.

There were ceremonies for conveying the boats at the relevant units.

Attending the ceremonies were Mun Kyong Dok, Kim Tu Il, Pak Song Chol and Kim Su Gil, chief secretaries of the North Phyongan, South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and Kangwon provincial committees of the WPK, Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials concerned and students and their parents and teachers.

The residents warmly sent off the boats with students aboard.
