Kim Jong Suk County produced tens of thousands more of saplings than the planned through a mass campaign. Several units in the county built tree nurseries well and introduced growth promoters and root protectants.

Kapsan County over-fulfilled its production plan of several species of wild fruit saplings by cultivating and manuring them in a scientific way.

Pochon County provided a foundation for producing much more Koryo medicines and processed foodstuffs by increasing the production of such wild fruit saplings as Schisandra chinensis, wild grape and tara vine.

Big achievements have been also made by the Provincial Koryo Medicine Production Management Bureau which built a tissue culture room and produced tens of thousands of Aronia melanocarpa saplings. Kim Hyong Jik County is noted for the introduction of natural irrigation system into a nursery between forests and Unhung County for the cultivation of hundreds of thousands of high-yielding vitamin saplings.
