Officials and workers of floricultural stations in the city have tended with sincerity the flowers with strong durability and viability planted in flower parks, beds and stands.

Plants of ornamental value were arranged to be congenial to formative art to suit the look and land features of the streets. And a brisk undertaking is done to cultivate new species of flowers in liaison with the Pyongyang Floriculture Institute.

The flower production units in Central District, Taedonggang District and Moranbong District gorgeously decorated areas around Kyongru-dong, Okryu Bridge and the Arch of Triumph with French marigold, perennial begonia, salvia, etc.

The Phyongchon District Floriculture Station made sure that fresh flowers are always on display at scores of spots in Mirae Scientists Street and Chollima Street.

Songyo, Pothonggang and other districts work out plans in a forward-looking manner for the next year's flower production.
