| Salt Output Up in DPRK

| Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the salt industrial sector are increasing salt production through the campaign to put the salt production on an intensive, mechanized and modern basis. The Salt Industry Bureau is making sure all the units properly adopt advanced salt production methods so that they prove worth in the production. Salt works in Kwangryangman, Yonbaek, Namyang, Unha, Namsi and Nampho have carried out their yearly plans of salt production. As a result, the bureau registered 1.5 times more salt production than that of the same period of the last year. |
