The Korean Metallurgical Industry Association is engaged in addressing the sci-tech problems arising in perfecting the Juche-based iron production system, expanding its capacity and increasing the production of iron and steel. The national sci-tech presentation in the field of metal industry and the 5th symposium on Juche iron served as an opportunity for spreading the scientific and technological achievements and experience.

The Korean Agricultural Technology Association organized a presentation and experience-sharing session for wheat and barley cultivation to introduce advanced farming techniques and experience into agricultural practice.

The Korean Foodstuff Industry Association has sponsored a symposium to settle the issues arising in establishing the lactic acid bacteria production process necessary for the production of acidophilus and meeting the national demand for it.

Other associations and societies, too, are intensifying the work to organize more significant presentations and symposia on the sci-tech problems arising in carrying out the tasks for this year.
