The province organized a research team with competent scientists and researchers to intensify the research for producing fertilizer with domestic raw materials, taking measures to provide the technical guidance and work conditions.

The research team settled the sci-tech problems arising in confirming the mixing ratio of chemical products suited to the characteristics of vegetable crops and fertilizer and formulating the filtering and dilution processes, in close cooperation with the Pyongyang Vegetable Science Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science.

The designing of production processes was completed amid the intensified cooperation among relevant units, and relevant industrial establishments are turning out various kinds of chemical products to be used in making nutrient solution fertilizer.
