The Academy of Medical Science directs efforts to developing various drugs with Koryo medicinal materials.

The State Academy of Sciences and Pyongyang University of Medicine have made researches to develop highly efficacious medicines that are congenial to the constitution of the Korean people.

Thanks to the efforts of enthusiastic scientists and researchers, nose spray and 10-odd kinds of drugs have been developed our own way, and the work to increase the variety of highly efficacious medicines is progressing apace.

Meanwhile, pharmaceutical production units are concentrating all efforts on the production of developed medicines.
