Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- Cities and counties across the DPRK are now providing the children with dairy products and other nutrients while pushing ahead with the work to build and expand the bases for producing dairy products. This is a precious fruition of the childcare policy of the Workers' Party of Korea for the rising generations. The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, held in June, Juche 110 (2021), discussed the issue of improving the Party's childcare policy as an important agenda item and established it as the Party's policy to supply the children across the country with nutritive foodstuffs including diary products at the state expense. At the plenary meeting, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed that there is no more important revolutionary work than the work of nourishing children well and that it is the most important policy and supreme cherished desire of our Party and state to provide more improved conditions of bringing the children up even with huge sums of money. He also noted that to lavish care on children despite difficulties and to vigorously advance toward the future of communism with the might of that love should be the way of advance and development of the Korean revolution. Afterwards, he calculated even the number of children at nurseries and kindergartens and the daily necessary amount of milk across the country and took a special measure of providing milk powder for children. He even tasted the milk powder produced on trial, being concerned about its quality. Under his loving care for the children, the Law of the DPRK on Childcare was adopted to provide the best upbringing conditions for all the children. All the people are expressing gratitude to the motherly Party and the socialist system of the country, seeing the children grow healthier with each passing day with the dairy products as nutrients. |
