President Kim Il Sung's Field Guidance to Pyongyang General Printing Plant Marked
Pyongyang, November 10 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place on Wednesday to mark the 60th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's field guidance to the Pyongyang General Printing Plant.

Ri Myong Chol, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), and officials and employees of the plant attended the meeting. Jon Myong Sik, secretary of the Primary Party Committee of the plant, made a report there.

The reporter said that the President unrolled a plan for building a new modern general printing plant and personally appointed the site for it and visited the plant on November 10, Juche 51 (1962) to indicate the tasks and ways for building the Juche-based printing industry.

Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the plant several times to give deep trust that it is an arsenal producing the Party's powerful ideological weapon and provided a complete set of latest printing equipment, the reporter said, and went on:

The plant, which had been developed under the care of the President and the Chairman, is now further glorifying its honor as the eldest son of the country's printing industry under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un saw to it that a congratulatory message of the WPK Central Committee was sent to the workers, technicians and officials of the plant marking its 70th founding anniversary. And he called to the office building of the WPK Central Committee the working people of the plant who contributed to the successful holding of the 8th WPK Congress in January last year to have a photo taken with them.

The reporter referred to the successes made by the officials and employees of the plant in the struggle to fulfill their honorable responsibility and duty before the Party and revolution over the past years.

He called upon all the officials and employees to add eternal brilliance to the leadership exploits of the Party and bring about a fresh turn in the work of the plant by raising the fierce flames of the revolution in publishing.
