The exhibition, gorgeous and conspicuous with beautiful clothes stirring up the noble aesthetic feelings of women and reflecting the requirements of the times, marked a significant occasion in developing the dressing culture suited to the socialist lifestyle.

Watching various kinds of clothes presented by different units, visitors deeply grasped the noble and highly civilized dressing culture of our own style.

The ceremony was attended by Vice-Premier Ri Song Hak who is chairman of the Korean Garment Industry Association, Minister of Culture Sung Jong Gyu, Chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee Choe Hui Thae, officials concerned, officials of the garment field and relevant units and working people.

Ri Song Hak made a closing address.

Diplomas were awarded to the best units at the exhibition.
