Teachers, researchers, postgraduate students and students of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang University of Architecture and the Welding Institute of the State Academy of Sciences presented dozens of papers to the sci-tech presentation.

The symposium discussed the ways for developing various kinds of welding rod coatings with domestic raw materials and establishing the process of producing welding rods our own way.

In the period, a sci-tech lecture was given on the trend of the development of the welding field.
