Immortal Banner Guiding Socialist Cause to Dynamic Advance

Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- Chairman Kim Jong Il made public the work "Socialism Is the Lifeline of Our People" on November 14, Juche 81 (1992) to clarify the principled issues for firmly defending and accomplishing socialism, the only way for realizing the popular masses' independence and the ideal of mankind. In the early 1990s when the anti-socialist violent storm swept the world and later, the Chairman authored many works to provide an ideological and theoretical guarantee for the steady advance of the socialist cause. Those works, including "Socialism Is a Science" and "Abuses of Socialism Are Intolerable", are precious treasures as they scientifically prove the inevitability of victory of the socialist cause, the human cause of independence. They stress that to strengthen the ideological work and hold high the red flag of the revolution is a sure guarantee for the victory of the popular masses' cause of independence, the socialist cause. Expounded in the works is the precious truth that the fundamental key to accomplishing the socialist cause lies in preserving and adding luster to the idea and exploits of the leader. Also expounded is the idea that it is important to thoroughly adhere to the socialist principles in the revolution and construction and preserve the Juche character and national character in order to defend and advance socialism. They also indicate the tasks and ways for building a prosperous socialist state on this land and accomplishing the socialist cause of Juche by carrying forward President Kim Il Sung's idea of state building and exploits. The Chairman's works have fully proved their scientific accuracy, truth and invincible vitality in the Korean people's struggle for the victorious advance of socialism and served as an immortal banner giving great encouragement to the world progressive people aspiring after socialism. |
