More Intangible Cultural Heritages Registered in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The Bureau for the Protection of Cultural Heritage under the DPRK Ministry of Culture recently registered two objects in the list of national and local intangible cultural heritages.

The culture related to the Korean national dog - Phungsan was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. This culture consists of the course of raising and taming the Phungsan dog, the custom of using the dog in hunting and different forms of art works including novel, film and art piece on the theme of the dog.

Kyongsong Tangogi soup of North Hamgyong Province, registered as a local intangible cultural heritage, shows the wisdom and talents of the Korean people who have effectively used it in the dietary life, preserving the cookery peculiar to their region and local features.
