Korean Women Do Good Things
Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- Women's union members in different parts of the DPRK have striven to do many more good things for the country.

Members of the Pyongyang city women's union shock brigade took a big part in sodding, additional planting and rezoning to contribute to the construction of 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area.

Women's union members in South Hamgyong Province carried out the transport of various kinds of building materials, the creation of tens of thousands of square meters of green belts and planting of thousands of trees at the construction site of the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm. They also gave letters of encouragement, foodstuffs and daily necessities to liven up the builders.

Women of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry and Rason City worked hard to help build dwelling houses in the Komdok area.

Women's union members across the country turned out as one in a do-good-thing movement including rabbit-breeding and silkworm-raising.

More women's union officials and members are taking an active part in the patriotic movement conducive to increasing the wealth of the country and bolstering up the national defence capabilities.
