Premier Kim Tok Hun Inspects Major Construction Projects

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected the construction sites for building 10, 000 flats in the Hwasong area, the establishment of C-1 chemical industry and the nutrient solution fertilizer factory of the Sunchon Chemical Complex. In the Hwasong area where new construction miracles are being wrought, the premier urged officials to carry on the effective organization and guidance to wonderfully complete all structures in the period set by the Party and create peculiar landscaping in the area. At the construction site for the establishment of C-1 chemical industry, he said that officials and scientists and technicians should make strenuous efforts and display their creativity to the full, deeply mindful of the importance of the construction project that takes a large portion in strengthening the independent foundation of the chemical industry and improving the people's standard of living. Learning about the construction of a nutrient solution fertilizer factory at the Sunchon Chemical Complex, he stressed the need to vigorously accelerate the construction by giving precedence to designing and responsibly carrying out the building work so that the factory can contribute to the realization of the Party's plan for rapidly increasing the greenhouse vegetables production. The field consultative meetings discussed the issue of further enhancing the responsibility and role of the officials to successfully step up the construction projects for the implementation of the decisions made at the 8th Party Congress and the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee, the issue of making preparations in advance to carry out the construction without letup even under the winter conditions and taking thorough measures for the supply of materials and equipment, and other issues. |
