National Heritage Conservation Actively Conducted in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- On the occasion of autumn months for protection of national heritages, Pyongyang City substantially organizes and conducts the preservation and management of historical and cultural relics. Rangnang District is pushing ahead with the work for building up the surrounding areas of the Rangnang Museum like a park. Central District repaired the Ryongwang Pavilion and the Taedong Gate and arranged their surroundings. Phyongchon District is pushing ahead with the work to restore the outer walls of the Walled City of Pyongyang, a national treasure, and to improve the surrounding environment. As the Rimgyong Cave relics were registered as preservation relics, Kangdong County has newly built a plaza before the cave, explanation and notice for the convenience of the visitors. |
