National Heritage Conservation Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK has directed efforts to the conservation of historical and cultural relics.

The provincial station for the protection of national heritage recently restored the fort of Mt Jongbang in tens of meters-long section and repaired the relics at the Songbul Temple on the principle of historicism.

Phyongsan and Yonthan counties finished the repair of planned sections of the walls in Mt Thaebaek and Jabi Pass in a short span of time and Sangwon and Jangphung counties restored the old castles damaged by natural factors and pushed ahead with the work to preserve the ecological environment.

Working people in Sinphyong County repaired the road and bridge on the route of mountaineering to suit the appearance of scenic Sinphyong Kumgang and planted wild fruit trees including pine-nut tree and Aronia melanocarpa to add beauty to the scenic spot.
