Housewarming in Countryside
Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- Hundreds of new dwelling houses have taken their shape in rural areas of the DPRK at a time when the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's programme for socialist rural construction are being clearly demonstrated across the country.

They are crop-raising workteams Nos. 1 and 2 of the Ryongwon Farm in Kumya County and crop-raising workteam No. 3 of the Mundong Fruit Farm in Pukchong County of South Hamgyong Province and the seat village of the Tokam Farm in Kaesong City.

Ceremonies for moving into the new houses built under the loving care of the Party were held on the spots.

Present there were Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Party Committee, Kim Yong Sik, chairman of the provincial people's committee, Pak Tong Chol, chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, Choe Kyong Nam, chairman of the Kaesong City People's Committee, Ri Sung Jin, chairman of the city rural economy committee, Jang Myong Gi, secretary of the city Party committee, officials concerned, builders, officials and employees of relevant units who contributed to the construction and agricultural workers of the Ryongwon Farm, the Mundong Fruit Farm and the Tokam Farm.

Congratulatory addresses and speeches were made and licenses for the use of houses were conveyed.

Moving into the new houses began amid the dancing to the tune of cheerful peasant music.

Officials congratulated the inhabitants on the happy event and shared joy with them.
