National Heritage Conservation Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people across the country actively conduct the preservation and management of historical and cultural relics on the occasion of autumn months for protection of national heritage. Officials and working people in Mangyongdae District and Taesong District of Pyongyang City are speeding up the realignment and masonry of the sites of Sosan Fort and Nam Gate of Taesongsan Fort, Kwangbop Temple and Anhak Palace and taking good care of the sites. Officials and employees of the Koryo Museum in Kaesong City took measures to conduct more effective display and management of relics. The Kaesong City Management Office for the Protection of National Heritage repaired dozens of tombs and conducted the management of scenic spots and natural monuments. Similar successes have been achieved in Paechon County of South Hwanghae Province, Sukchon County of South Phyongan Province, Yonggwang County of South Hamgyong Province and Nyongbyon County of North Phyongan Province and Nampho City. |
