Concrete-sleeper producing units under Pyongyang, Kaechon, Chongjin and Rason railway bureaus improved the quality of the sleepers and boosted the production. As a result, over ten units have carried out their yearly plans by the end of October.

A lot of engine service brigades, passenger and cargo carriage corps and railway stations in the DPRK also fulfilled their yearly plans.
