Present there were officials of the youth league, principals of schools, instructors of the youth league and the children's union and schoolchildren who set an example in rabbit breeding.

The show was held by examining and judging rabbits of new breeds bred by schoolchildren across the country at their leisure.

Also on display were assorted feed and veterinary medicines made by schools across the country.

The workshop heard successes and experience gained in securing good strains of breeding rabbits and widely introducing advanced breeding methods to raise the growth rate of rabbits and in reducing the death rate through veterinary and anti-epizootic measures and laying material foundations including feed processing equipment.

A citation was awarded to exemplary schoolchildren, and prizes were awarded to excellent units.
