Various units in the provinces sent fast-growing trees and beautiful flower shrubs and the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea sent many books and growth promoters helpful to tending trees in the arboretum.

It has become a common practice for Party members, working people and school youth and children across the country to plant trees of good species and rare flowering plants in the arboretum and donate tending tools.

The arboretum in the area of the palace has been further spruced up thanks to the loyalty of all the people.
