Int'l Day of Persons with Disabilities Marked
Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the People's Palace of Culture in the DPRK on Friday to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Attending it were Yun Chang Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials of relevant units, disabled persons and their families and working people in Pyongyang City.

Screened there was a video showing the achievements made in the protection of the disabled in the DPRK this year.

Then, a performance "Our Great Country" was given by the art groups of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled.

Put on the stage of the performance, which started with an instrumental music and song "Our National Flag", were such numbers as a song accompanied by dance "Glory to General Kim Jong Un", a male chorus of the immortal masterpiece "Nostalgia", folk dance "Sangmo Dance" and narrative poem "Song of the People Who Won Victory".

The performance, artistically depicting the disabled persons in the DPRK who have fully enjoyed the happy life under the world's best socialist system, ended with a chorus "Our Great Country".
