Looking up to the autographic letters of Chairman Kim Jong Il, "Mt Paektu, the sacred mountain of the revolution, Kim Jong Il", the expedition members recollected the revolutionary exploits of the peerlessly great man who led the Korean revolution to uninterrupted advance and victory with the courage and pluck of Paektu to lay a solid foundation for building a powerful socialist country.

The shout of the expedition members resounded through the mountain when they vented their emotion and joy atop the mountain, the birthplace of the Korean revolution, the symbol of victory and the spiritual pillar of the Korean people.

They looked back on the everlasting history of the resistance by President Kim Il Sung who accomplished the historic cause of national liberation, crossing steep ridges of Mt Paektu, and the noble mental world of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who solemnly wrote the first page of the history of the Korean revolution, shedding warm blood in the vast Paektu area.
