Attending the presentation were scientists, technicians and officials of more than 200 units, including the South Phyongan Provincial Institute of Agricultural Science and Sariwon Kye Ung Sang University of Agriculture. It heard a lot of papers dealing with the scientific and technological issues arising in settling the soybean seeds suited to the specific conditions of the country and raising the per-hectare yield of soybean crops.

Exchanged and shared at the presentation were effective methods for breeding and introducing soybean strains suited to different climatic and soil conditions, minimizing the damage by disastrous abnormal weather and cultivating soybean on low-yielding fields as later crops, an organic farming method for increasing the soybean yield and data on newly developed nutrients and agrochemicals.
