Present there were Kim Phyong Hyon, chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial People's Committee, officials in the fields of national heritage protection and veterinary science and animal husbandry, inhabitants breeding Phungsan Dog and other working people.

Hundreds of dogs were presented to the show and their standings were decided through preliminary, basic, expert, general and final judgments.

The Phungsan dogs bred by inhabitants of Kim Hyong Gwon, Phungso and Kapsan counties with the desire to preserve and propagate the native species of Phungsan dogs which have been familiar with the Korean people from olden times for their clever, tenacious and brave nature, were highly estimated at the show.

Certificates and relevant prizes were awarded there.
