The Ministry of Urban Management and all the provinces, cities and counties created new water-producing capacities in cities and countryside by stepping up the projects for building depositing reservoirs and expanding their capacities.

The equipment and facilities for the production and supply of domestic water were repaired and reinforced in a qualitative way and positive efforts are put into the provision of enough repairing materials and spare equipment.

Conduits were repaired well and all the lines for water disinfection were reinforced.

The whole network of rain-water was repaired and maintained and sewage purifying facilities were renovated. New sewage treatment plants were also built. And filth-treating factories suited to regional specific conditions were built with a view to pushing forward with recycling.
