On the greatest national memorial day, an endless stream of people visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state.

With the boundless reverence for the President and the Chairman, the people, service personnel, youth and schoolchildren paid homage to the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

Working people, service personnel, youth and schoolchildren placed floral baskets, bouquets and flowers at the statues, portraits of the smiling President and the Chairman and mosaics portraying their images on Mansu Hill and other parts of the country.

Officials, Party members and other working people, service personnel, youth and students throughout the country watched documentaries on the lofty personality of the Chairman as a great man and his noble moral traits at the worksite, posts and houses.

All the people hardened their iron will to hold the Chairman in high esteem forever and carry through his instructions.

Meetings to praise the noble career and undying feats of the Chairman and oath-taking gatherings took place in North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces and all other parts of the country.
